第三、明三禪發相，亦類前為六意：一、正明三禪發相；二、明支義；三、明因果；四、明淺深；五、明進退；六、明功德。

Third, explaining the signs of the manifestation of the third dhyāna, which is also divided into six aspects analogous to the previous: first, directly explaining the signs of the manifestation of the third dhyāna; second, explaining the meaning of the factors; third, explaining cause and effect; fourth, explaining shallowness and depth; fifth, explaining progress and regress; sixth, explaining merits.
