5.33

復有人言：「禪法一向不得處眾說之。」敬尋提婆在大眾中廣說禪定，今時豈頓杜口？但不得言：「我證是法，某證是法，及禪祕密微妙境界。」向人說此，獲罪不輕。

Furthermore, someone says: "The teachings of dhyāna must never be expounded in an assembly." Respectfully examining Āryadeva, he expounded dhyāna-concentration extensively in the midst of a great assembly; how could people nowadays suddenly close their mouths? One must merely not say: "I have realized this dharma; so-and-so has realized this dharma," or speak of the secret and subtle realms of dhyāna. If one speaks of these to others, the offense incurred is not light.
