6.89

復次，行者若於眾生緣中具足入法緣、無緣，是時眾生緣四無量心是摩訶衍。復次，菩薩發菩提心，行菩薩道，此眾生緣四無量心，雖是凡夫所行，亦應知應證。證已，以不可得空無所著，善巧方便，即能於此定中具足一切善法，度諸眾生，即是行菩薩道。復次，四無量心中觀行功德眾多，更欲論餘事，不具明也。

Furthermore, if within conditionality on sentient beings the practitioner completely enters conditionality on dharmas and non-conditionality, then the four immeasurable minds conditioned on sentient beings are Mahāyāna. Furthermore, when a bodhisattva generates the bodhicitta and practices the bodhisattva path, although these four immeasurable minds conditioned on sentient beings are practiced by ordinary persons, they must also be known and realized. Having realized them, by being unattached through unattainable emptiness, with skillful expedient means, one is able within this absorption to become complete in all wholesome dharmas and save sentient beings—this is precisely practicing the bodhisattva path. Furthermore, the merits of the contemplative practices within the four immeasurable minds are numerous; desiring to discuss other matters, they are not explained in full.
