7.7

一者、自有眾生慧性多而定性少，為說六妙門。六妙門中慧性多故，於欲界初禪中即能發無漏，此未必至上地諸禪也。

First, there are sentient beings who naturally have more wisdom and less concentration; for them, the six subtle gates are taught. Because they have more wisdom within the six subtle gates, they are able to elicit undefiledness right within the desire realm and the first dhyāna; they do not necessarily reach the various dhyānas of the higher grounds.
