8.102

又經言：「前三種定，二道所斷；後第四定，終不可以世俗道斷。凡夫於非想處雖離麁煩惱，而亦具有十種細法。以其無麁煩惱故，一切凡夫謂是涅槃。」廣說如經。

Furthermore, the sūtra states: "The first three kinds of absorptions are severed by two paths; the latter, fourth absorption can never be severed by the mundane path. Although ordinary people in the station of neither-notion are free from coarse defilements, they nevertheless fully possess ten kinds of subtle dharmas. Because they lack coarse defilements, all ordinary people think it is nirvāṇa." The detailed explanation is as in the sūtra.
