「分別色相」者，分別欲界色身，乃至四禪色一一別異不實，亦知空處未離色法也。

'Differentiating characteristics of form' means differentiating that the material bodies of the desire realm up to the forms of the fourth dhyāna are each distinct and unreal, and also knowing that the station of [infinite] space has not yet departed from the dharmas of form.
