二、並約自地釋者，「觀身厭患，遠離身相」者，厭患如影之色覆蔽於心，觀此影色亦不可得也。「身等三觸」者，別喜根前已壞，此是四禪色起觸，心生三觸也。「分別色相」者，分別四禪喜樂及如影之色皆虛誑也。「遠離色陰」及「觀無量空處」，不異前說。

Second, explaining exclusively in terms of its own stage: 'Contemplating the body with weariness and disgust, departing from bodily characteristics' means feeling weary of and disgusted with shadow-like form covering the mind, and contemplating that this shadow-like form is also ungraspable. 'The three sensations of body and so forth' means that although the faculty of prīti was previously broken, here form in the fourth dhyāna gives rise to touch, and the mind generates three sensations. 'Differentiating characteristics of form' means differentiating that the prīti and sukha of the fourth dhyāna, as well as the shadow-like form, are all deceptive. 'Departing from the form aggregate' and 'contemplating the station of infinite space' are no different from the previous explanation.
