Fifth, the vajra-wheel: The ninth unobstructed path is called the vajra-wheel samādhi. Just as a diamond (vajra) is hard in essence and sharp in function, able to crush various things, the vajra samādhi is also like this: not invaded by false delusion, able to sever all bonds and proclivities and become an arhat. If in the mind of a bodhisattva, it is vajra-prajñā, shattering the subtle delusions of ignorance and realizing sarvākārajñatā; it is also called pure dhyāna. Relying on this dhyāna, the bodhisattva attains the fruit of great bodhi.
