Third, regarding disputatious anger: When cultivating dhyāna, a practitioner is attached to the Dharma of their own understanding as right, holding that what others practice and say is entirely wrong. Since what outsiders say does not conform to their own sentiments, thoughts of vexation arise in their mind. There are people in the world who, though infringed upon regarding wealth and silk, can still patiently endure and dispute little, yet regarding doctrines and principles they harbor great anger and hatred, having nothing to do with each other. This is called the mark of the manifestation of disputatious anger.
