復次，行者當數息時，細心善巧，制心緣數法及息，不令細微覺觀得起，剎那異念分別不生，是則於數中成就止門。

Furthermore, when the practitioner counts the breath, with a subtle mind and skillful means, restraining the mind to associate with the method of counting and the breath, not allowing subtle gross and subtle examination to arise, and preventing distinct thoughts and discriminations from arising from moment to moment—this is achieving the gate of cessation within counting.
