二、喜支。欣慶之心名之為喜。行者初得內淨時，即與喜俱發，而喜心未成。次心自慶，得免覺觀之患，獲得勝定內淨之喜，歡喜無量，故名為喜支。

Second, the factor of joy. A mind of rejoicing and celebration is named joy. When the practitioner first attains internal purity, joy arises together with it, yet the joyful mind is not yet perfected. Next, the mind rejoices in itself at having escaped the affliction of initial and sustained application and obtained the joy of internal purity in superior concentration; with immeasurable delight, it is therefore named the factor of joy.
