十三、觀出散。修特勝者，從四禪入虛空處時，加修觀智，內外照了，是故若證空定之時，即知能離色界。緣空之識，自在逍散而虛誑不實，心不愛著，故云觀出散。若對念處，猶屬法念處觀。

13. Contemplating dispersal. When one who cultivates the superior stages enters the base of boundless space from the fourth dhyāna, one applies further cultivation of contemplative wisdom, illuminating inwardly and outwardly. Therefore, when realizing the concentration of space, one knows that one can leave the form realm. The consciousness that takes space as its object is freely dispersed, illusory, and unreal; with the mind having no craving attachment, it is called 'contemplating dispersal.' Correlated with the bases of mindfulness, it still belongs to the contemplation of mindfulness of phenomena.
