六、意入。心對一切法，即有能知法之用，名之為意。意者即心王也，是中除諸心數法，但取心王以為意入。
Sixth, the mind āyatana. When the mind faces all dharmas, it immediately possesses the function of being able to know dharmas; this is called the mind (manas). "Mind" is the king of the mind; here, excluding the various mental factors, only the king of the mind is taken as the mind āyatana.
