二、無相解脫門。云何名無相解脫門？觀男女相、一異相等，是相中求實皆不可得，故無相。所以者何？若諸法無我、我所故空，空故無男無女、一異等法。我、我所中名字是異，以是故男女、一異等相實不可得。能如是通達者，是為無相解脫門。是解脫緣四行，謂盡、滅、妙、出。

Second, the liberation gate of signlessness. What is called the liberation gate of signlessness? Contemplating the signs of male and female, signs of unity and difference, and so forth: seeking reality among these signs, none can be found, hence they are signless. Why is that? If dharmas are empty due to lack of self and what belongs to a self, being empty, there are no dharmas of male or female, unity or difference, and so forth. Names are distinct within self and what belongs to a self; therefore, signs such as male and female, unity and difference, are genuinely ungraspable. Being able to penetrate in this way is the liberation gate of signlessness. This liberation takes four aspects as its objects, namely cessation, pacification, excellence, and escape.
