一、未知欲知根。無漏九根和合信行、法行人於見諦道中，名未知欲知根。所謂九根者，信根、精進根、念根、定根、慧根、喜根、樂根、捨根、意根也。

First is the faculty of coming to know what is not yet known (anājñātam-ājñāsyām-īndriya). The nine untainted faculties in combination, in those who follow by faith and those who follow by the Dharma on the path of seeing the truths, are called the faculty of coming to know what is not yet known. The so-called nine faculties are: the faculty of faith, the faculty of vigor, the faculty of mindfulness, the faculty of concentration, the faculty of wisdom, the faculty of joy, the faculty of pleasure, the faculty of equanimity, and the faculty of mind.
