七、念阿那。念阿那般那者，如十六特勝明出入息也。如是念時，能除心亂，入於正道，何況世間恐怖？是為念阿那般那也。

7. Recollection of ānāpāna: As for recollection of ānāpānasmṛti, it is as explained for inhalation and exhalation in the sixteen superior stages. When recollecting thus, it can eliminate distraction of the mind and lead into the correct path, not to mention worldly fear. This is recollection of ānāpāna.
