九、離想。觀涅槃離生死智慧相應想，名為離想。行者思惟，若涅槃清淨離生死者，當離生死，證涅槃也。

9. The notion of dispassion: The notion associated with the wisdom that contemplates nirvāṇa as separation from birth-and-death is called the notion of dispassion. The practitioner reflects: 'If nirvāṇa is pure and separated from birth-and-death, I should depart from birth-and-death and realize nirvāṇa.'
