四、內無色相外觀色多，若好若醜，是名勝知勝見。內無色相如二背捨。外觀色多，若好若醜等，皆如二勝處也。

Fourth, without the notion of form internally, one externally contemplates vast forms, whether fair or foul—this is called mastery of knowledge and mastery of vision. 'Without the notion of form internally' is as in the second liberation. 'Externally contemplating vast forms, whether fair or foul' and so forth are all as in the second base of mastery.
