九、天眼力。佛天眼淨過諸人眼，見眾生死時、生時，端正醜陋、若大若小，若墮惡道、若生善道，如是業因緣受報。是諸眾生惡身口意成就，謗毀聖人、邪見業成就，是因緣故，身壞死時，入惡道生地獄中。是諸眾生，善身口意業成就，不謗聖人、正見正業成就，是因緣故，身壞死時，入善道生天上。如實遍知，無能壞、無能勝，九力也。

Ninth, the power of the divine eye. The Buddha's divine eye is pure, surpassing all human eyes, seeing the time of sentient beings' deaths and births, whether handsome or ugly, whether great or small, whether falling into evil destinies or born in good destinies, receiving retributions according to such karmic causes and conditions: 'These sentient beings, having accomplished evil bodily, verbal, and mental [karma], having slandered the noble ones and accomplished actions of wrong views—due to these causes and conditions, when their bodies break up at death, they enter evil destinies and are born in hell. These sentient beings, having accomplished wholesome bodily, verbal, and mental karma, not slandering the noble ones and having accomplished right views and right actions—due to these causes and conditions, when their bodies break up at death, they enter good destinies and are born in the heavens.' Knowing this ubiquitously in accordance with reality, indestructible and unconquerable; this is the ninth power.
