Sixth, the anuśaya of the view of an individual self (satkāyadṛṣṭi). If, with respect to nāmarūpa, the skandhas, āyatanas, and dhātus, one falsely posits an individual self, this is called the view of an individual self. If, through ignorance, one fails to understand them, one generates twenty kinds of views of an individual self with respect to the five skandhas; thus there are twenty kinds of views of an individual self. Abandoned through seeing the truths, passing through the three realms in one category, there are two views of an individual self.
