Seventh, the anuśaya of extreme views (antagrāhadṛṣṭi). A mind that grasps at extremes is called an extreme view. If, regarding the four extremes, one fails to understand and, following whichever one extreme one sees, takes it as true and all the other extremes as entirely false speech, grasping mutually at one extreme according to what one sees, one falls entirely into extreme views. Traversing the five skandhas across the three times, there are sixty-two views, all of which are abandoned through seeing the truths; taken together, the sixty-two views are all subsumed under the single [category of] extreme views. Furthermore, in terms of what is abandoned through seeing the truths, passing through the three realms in one category, there are three extreme views.
