二、應知下，就法明發由觀合。雖由緣、了須揀前三，稱性圓修方名一合，功成用顯設化無方。

Second, from "One should know..." downward, explaining in terms of dharmas that manifestation derives from union through contemplation. Although deriving from conditioning and revealing, one must exclude the previous three [teachings]; only when circular cultivation accords with the nature is it called a single union. When effort is accomplished and function is manifest, setting forth transformation is without limit.
