Second, capable of arising due to perfuming. How could it merely be that expedient and real are mutually dark-fused? The essence of stimulus and response is also one. The nature is fundamentally completely possessed, yet partial arising is due to perfuming. Because the nature takes over cultivation, cultivation is like an illusion. In the equal dharma realm, Buddhas do not cross over sentient beings; undivided yet divided, stimulus and response are provisionally established. Yearning and arriving are fundamentally empty, and therefore are all like an illusion. However, this is not even the illusion of the mere principle according with conditions; how could it be identical to the illusion of arising from conditions without essence? Now it clarifies that each possession is fundamentally fused, and provisional division is like an illusion; one who can know this is truly of the perfect vehicle.
