問：「他云，舊本作此其字，釋意云，豈可由不移生死涅槃常殊之性事，便任此為了修乎？是故下句便云，故須一其迷了照性成修。此復云何？」

Question: "Others say that older editions have the characters 'this' (ci 此) and 'its' (qi 其), explaining the meaning as: 'How could one, because the unchanging nature and phenomena of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa are constantly distinct, casually take this as understanding-cultivation?' Therefore the following line says: 'Therefore one must take this/its (ci/qi) delusion and understanding, illuminating nature to accomplish cultivation.' How should this be resolved?"
