次月光三昧破瞿耶尼有者，月之初生，光現於西，此隨便立名也。月光亦譬破闇，釋三昧四意，類日光三昧可知。

Next, the moonlight samādhi which shatters the existence of Godānīya: when the moon first waxes, its light appears in the west; this name is established according to suitability. The moonlight is likewise an analogy for shattering darkness; the four points explaining this samādhi can be known by analogy with the sunlight samādhi.
