次雙照三昧破二禪有者，二禪獨有內淨、喜兩支故受雙名，菩薩為破此雙故修雙空、雙假、雙中，雙照二帝，義推可知。

Next, the dual-illumination samādhi destroys existence in the second dhyāna. The second dhyāna uniquely possesses the two factors of inner purity and joy, hence it receives the name 'dual'. In order to destroy this duality, the bodhisattva cultivates dual emptiness, dual provisionality, and the dual middle, dually illuminating the two truths. The meaning can be deduced and understood.
