Next, entering the stage of succession, one is born in Tuṣita; relying on the mother's womb, one is born; one leaves home and subdues Māra; after Māra's army is dispersed, sitting peacefully and abiding in dhyāna, this is the accomplishment of medium patience; next, in a single kṣaṇa, one enters higher patience; next, in a single kṣaṇa, one enters the supreme worldly dharmas; next, in a single kṣaṇa, one produces true non-outflow, severing delusion and realizing the fruit with thirty-four mental states, and with the ten powers, fearlessnesses, and so forth all accomplished, one is called a buddha; one turns the wheel of Dharma; when conditions are exhausted, one enters extinction; the relics abide in the world, broadly bringing blessings to humans and devas. This is the character of the three vehicles of the Tripiṭaka [teaching].
