第二依堂之僧本以四時坐禪、六時禮佛，此為恒務，禪禮十時一不可缺。其別行僧行法竟，三日外即應依眾十時。若禮佛不及一時，罰三禮對眾懺。若全失一時，罰十禮對眾懺。若全失六時，罰一次維那。四時坐禪亦如是，除疾礙。先白知事則不罰。

Second: For the monks adhering to the hall, sitting in meditation during the four periods and worshipping the Buddha during the six periods are their constant duties; of these ten periods of meditation and worship, not one may be missed. When a monk of separate practice finishes his ritual practice, after three days he must join the communal reliance for the ten periods. If one fails to attend one period of worshipping the Buddha, he is penalized three prostrations of repentance before the assembly. If he misses an entire period, he is penalized ten prostrations of repentance before the assembly. If he misses all six periods, he is penalized by serving once as karmadāna. The same applies to sitting in meditation during the four periods, except in cases of illness or hindrance. If one informs the administrator beforehand, there is no penalty.
