春寒猶厲，道體何如。宴坐經行無乃為弊。都下法事恒興，希相助弘闡。今遣宣傳左右趙君卿迎接遲，能即出也。正月十一日。臣徵神筆。一二君卿口具，便望相見在促。

"The spring cold is still severe; how is the Master's venerable body? Have sitting in meditation and walking meditation not been fatiguing? Dharma services are constantly flourishing in the capital, and We hope you will assist in propagating and elaborating them. We now dispatch Attendant Zhao Junqing to receive you; Our longing is intense, and We hope you can depart at once. Eleventh day of the first month. Written by the imperial hand of your servant, [Chen] Shubao. The details have been conveyed orally by Junqing; We hope to meet very soon."
