路次迎陵。勅書迎候。近得永陽王啟，知禪師遂能屈德隨朕使出都，甚有欣遲當稍次近，路涉險道殊足為勞。今遣勅左右黃吉寶迎候，但未知欲安止何寺。想示使人仍令前還，即勒所由料理房舍也。遲近會言此未委悉。三月二十四日臣徵。

"An imperial letter of greeting and reception on the way to Yingling: Recently We received the Prince of Yongyang's memorial and learned that the Dhyāna Master has indeed deigned to accompany Our envoy out to the capital. We are greatly delighted and anticipate your arrival as you draw nearer, acknowledging that traveling on rugged roads must have been exceedingly wearisome. We now dispatch Attendant Huang Jibao to meet and attend upon you; however, We do not yet know which monastery you wish to reside in. Please indicate this to the envoy and have him return ahead, so that We can immediately instruct the responsible officials to prepare the quarters. We eagerly await our imminent meeting and conversation; other details are omitted here. Twenty-fourth day of the third month. Your servant, [Chen] Shubao."
