右牒開皇十一年十一月二十三日（王稟戒名總持菩薩。書疏即用法諱，弟子總持和南）。

The above dispatch is dated the twenty-third day of the eleventh month of the eleventh year of Kaihuang. (The Prince received the precept-name Bodhisattva Zongchi [Dhāraṇī]. When writing letters, he used his Dharma name: 'Disciple Zongchi bows in reverence'.)
