問：若轉計云「色由心造，但示心即妙理」者，自己報色且由心造，生佛各有能造之心，何不皆即妙理？何故定作因果事釋耶？

Question: If you shift your position and say, 'Form is created by mind; merely indicating the mind is itself wondrous principle,' one's own retribution form is likewise created by mind, and sentient beings and buddhas each have their minds capable of creating—why are they not all themselves wondrous principle? Why did you strictly interpret them phenomenally in terms of cause and fruition?
