問：仁既自云濁成本有之語，此示本迷，今了迷心，當體即理，染、淨不二等。且所觀陰心為約本迷說？為約今了說？二義若混，則將、賊不分，那名觀法耶？

Question: You yourself, benevolence, have spoken of the saying 'turbidity originally exists', which indicates fundamental delusion; now, understanding the deluded mind as immediately identical in its very substance to principle, the non-duality of defilement and purity, and so forth. Now, is the contemplated skandha-mind spoken of in terms of fundamental delusion, or in terms of present understanding? If these two meanings are conflated, then general and bandit are not distinguished; how could that be called a method of contemplation?
