故帝網一喻，可喻內外四種之義。何也？以修內外觀時各須隨舉一珠遍收眾珠。觀成遍歷，豈不隨舉一珠收眾珠耶？

Therefore, the single metaphor of Indra's net can illustrate the four meanings of internal and external. Why is that? Because when cultivating internal or external contemplation, in each case one must take any single pearl to pervasively encompass all pearls. When the contemplation is accomplished and pervasively passes through, does it not take any single pearl to encompass all pearls?
