《輔行》云：造有二義。一者約理，造即是具；二者約事，乃論過造於現、過現造當、現造於現、聖人變化所造（云云）。復結云：皆由理具方有事用。今欲修觀但觀理具，俱破俱立俱是法界，任運攝得權實所現（上皆《輔行》文也。但於事中取意而說，略彼廣文）。

The Fuxing states: 'Production has two meanings: first, in terms of principle, production is simply inherent possession; second, in terms of phenomena, it discusses the past producing the present, the past and present producing the future, the present producing the present, and what is produced through the transformative powers of the sages (and so forth).' It then concludes: 'All are due to principle possessing them before phenomenal functions can exist. Now, wishing to cultivate contemplation, one only contemplates inherent possession in principle; both refuting and establishing together, all are the dharmadhātu, spontaneously gathering that which is manifested by the provisional and the real.'
