論事造，乃取無明識陰為能造，十界依正為所造。若論理造，造即是具。既能造所造一一即理，乃一一當體皆具性德三千，故十二入各具千如也。

Discussing phenomenal production, one takes the consciousness-aggregate of ignorance as that which produces, and the direct and dependent retributions of the ten realms as that which is produced. If discussing production in principle, production is simply inherent possession. Since that which produces and that which is produced are each identical to principle, each in its intrinsic essence inherently possesses the three thousand of the inherent virtue of the nature; thus the twelve sense-entrances each inherently possess the thousand suchnesses.
