且自思己行之說，乃是策勸之語。大凡宗師解義，若遇諸聖行證之法，便須誡勸令見賢思齊。豈得此語便可救得純談理觀之失耶？

Now, this talk of 'personally reflecting on one's own practice' is merely an expression of exhortation. Generally, when an ancestral master explains doctrine, whenever encountering the dharmas of practice and realization of the holy ones, he must admonish and exhort so as to make people see the worthy and emulate them. How could such words rescue the fault of purely discussing principle contemplation?
