又援引文略，此玄對明三教。豈不引《阿含》、《大品》等諸經論，明三教十種三法耶？圓教十法豈全是經題自標，非引經論而立耶？若論紙數，此玄更多，何故不用觀心觀之耶？又將直附經題明於十法，故云以法性融之。豈《妙玄》三法不附妙法之題耶？

Moreover, as for the textual citations being brief, when this Profound Meaning comparatively clarifies the three teachings, does it not cite various sūtras and treatises such as the Āgamas and the Mahāprajñāpāramitā to clarify the ten kinds of threefold dharmas of the three teachings? Could the ten dharmas of the Perfect Teaching be entirely indicated by the sūtra title itself, without being established by citing sūtras and treatises? If we speak of the number of sheets of paper, this Profound Meaning has even more—why does it not use contemplation of the mind to contemplate them? Furthermore, taking the direct appending to the sūtra title to explain the ten dharmas, you therefore say they are harmonized through dharmatā. Does not the threefold dharma of the Miaoxuan append to the title of the Wondrous Dharma?
