且二意者，一為久修止觀者不忘本習故，諸文立事法觀心也。二為未習止觀者忘於封著，令知起行必依止觀故，諸文中立事法觀心也。

Moreover, as for the two intentions: the first is so that those who have long practiced the Zhiguan will not forget their original training, which is why the contemplation of the mind on phenomenal teachings is established in the various texts; the second is so that those who have not yet practiced the Zhiguan will abandon their rigid attachments and know that initiating practice must rely on the Zhiguan, which is why the contemplation of the mind on phenomenal teachings is established in the various texts.
