《妙玄》云：觀心釋者，令即聞即修起精進心。故《釋籤》解曰：隨聞一句，攝事成理，不待觀境方名修觀。又四諦境云：今明觀心，為顯妙行等。

The Miaoxuan says: 'The explanation through contemplating the mind causes one to give rise to a vigorous mind upon hearing and cultivating immediately.' Hence the Shiqian explains: 'Following each phrase heard, one gathers phenomena to accomplish principle, not waiting for an object of contemplation to be established before it is called cultivating contemplation.' Furthermore, on the object of the four truths, it says: 'Now clarifying contemplation of the mind is to reveal wonderful practice,' and so forth.
