又且縱此文被上人翻轉證彼止觀，又成約行觀法不可修證（以理觀正是約行觀故）。約行之觀既不可修證，事法又不可修證，則一切眾生永沈生死，無出離之門。何以不甘杜斷眾生入理之門趣果之路耶？

Furthermore, even if this passage were overturned by you to prove that *Zhiguan*, it would mean that the contemplation method according to practice cannot be cultivated and realized (since principle contemplation is precisely contemplation according to practice). If contemplation according to practice cannot be cultivated and realized, and phenomenal [contemplation] also cannot be cultivated and realized, then all sentient beings would forever sink in birth and death, with no door of escape. Why are you willing to shut and cut off the gate for sentient beings to enter the principle and the path to head toward the fruit?
