夫立名詮法、對問論宗，必須如日融氷、似箭中的。儻曲回問意、別構答詞，則彰理路已窮、慧門元壅。

Now, in establishing terms to explain doctrines and confronting questions to debate a school's tenets, one must be like the sun melting ice, like an arrow hitting the target. If one distorts the questioner's intent and fabricates other replies, this reveals that the path of reason is exhausted and the gate of wisdom was blocked from the start.
