然恐上人轉計，故且遮之。若論《示珠指》，實無此解。彼文已定判生佛是所造屬事，心法是能造屬理，故云生佛是因果，心法非因果也。

Yet fearing that you would shift your view in this way, I have provisionally refuted it. If we consider the Shizhu zhi, it genuinely contains no such interpretation. That text has already definitively judged that sentient beings and buddhas are what is produced and belong to phenomena, while the mind-dharma is that which produces and belongs to principle; hence it says that sentient beings and buddhas are cause and effect, while the mind-dharma is not cause and effect.
