One should know that whichever object one contemplates, it must right where it stands fully encompass all phenomena, right where it stands possess the three thousand in principle, and right where it stands transform the deluded into the true; only then is it called a perfect contemplation. How can one claim that the mind pertains exclusively to principle while all phenomena pertain to phenomena, so that one must first contemplate phenomena and reduce them to the mind before one may speak of 'form-only', 'mind-only', and so forth? It is through clinging to this one-sided view that you have misunderstood the gate of non-duality and falsely undermined the meaning of contemplating the mind.
