如問疑書云：教文明簡佛法太高，初心為難，觀心則易。因何特棄心法，專取佛法為於觀法？如此頻頻曉喻上人，於答疑書內尚未肯觀於妄心，乃云：若了十法雖殊、一理無二，還用無二之解，照無二之性，上等諸佛、下等眾生，豈是棄心取佛等耶？

As stated in my letter raising queries: 'The textual passages of the teaching clearly select [the mind, explaining that] the Buddha-dharma is too lofty, so it is difficult for beginners, whereas contemplating the mind is easy. Why do you specifically abandon the mental factor and exclusively adopt the Buddha-dharma as the method of contemplation?' Although I repeatedly instructed you, Reverend, in this manner, in your letter answering queries you were still unwilling to contemplate the deluded mind, stating: 'If one understands that although the ten dharmas differ, the one principle is non-dual, and again uses this non-dual understanding to illuminate the non-dual nature, equalling the Buddhas above and equalling sentient beings below, how could this be abandoning the mind and adopting the Buddha?' and so forth.
