諸佛子等，上來依法授汝三聚妙戒竟。雖已得法，汝必未能諳於持犯之相。我今依《梵網經》十重四十八輕戒相一一宣說，汝當諦聽。
"Disciples of the Buddha, above I have conferred upon you the three clusters of wondrous precepts in accordance with the Dharma. Although you have already obtained the Dharma, you surely cannot yet be familiar with the aspects of upholding and violating them. I shall now proclaim them one by one according to the ten major and forty-eight minor precept aspects of the Brahmajāla Sūtra; you must listen attentively:
