第二不得偷盜，若自若他，乃至鬼神官物一針一草，不得故盜，犯波羅夷罪。汝能持否？
"Second: you must not steal. Whether for oneself or another, even as little as a single needle or blade of grass belonging to spirits, deities, or the government, you must not steal it intentionally; doing so violates the precept and is a pārājika offense. Are you able to uphold it?"
