佛子！我今更為汝稱寶勝如來十號功德，為汝虔請慈尊方便救護。彼佛本願：若有眾生於十方界聞我名者，即得上生三十三天。流水長者為十千魚稱茲十號，彼諸魚類即得生天。長者成佛號釋迦文，彼十千天子，威德熾王而為上首。夙緣所追，而於光明會上，聞信相開士及其二子受菩提記。時諸天子重聞十號，頓悟本心，深證無生，便得受茲十號記別。願汝今日聞我稱揚寶勝十號，如彼天子所證，等無有異。南無過去寶勝如來、應供、正遍知、明行足、善逝、世間解、無上士、調御丈夫、天人師、佛、世尊（三說）。

Disciples of the Buddha! I now further recite for you the ten epithets and merits of Ratnaśikhin Tathāgata, and piously entreat the Compassionate Honoured One to skillfully rescue and protect you. That Buddha's fundamental vow states: 'If there are sentient beings in the realms of the ten directions who hear my name, they shall immediately ascend to be born in the Trayastriṃśa Heaven.' When the Elder Jalavāhana recited these ten epithets for the ten thousand fish, those fish immediately attained birth in heaven. The Elder attained Buddhahood with the name Śākyamuni, and among those ten thousand devaputras, King Prabhāketu was the foremost. Pursued by past conditions, they were in the assembly of the Suvarṇaprabhāsa [Sūtra] and heard that the Great Being Ruciraketu and his two sons received the prediction of bodhi. At that time, when the devaputras heard the ten epithets once more, they suddenly awakened to their original minds and deeply realized non-arising, whereupon they received this prediction of the ten epithets. May you today, hearing me praise the ten epithets of Ratnaśikhin, realize just as those devaputras realized, equally and without difference: Homage to the past Ratnaśikhin Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Vidyācaraṇasampanna, Sugata, Lokavid, Anuttarapuruṣadamyasārathi, Śāstādevamanuṣyāṇām, Buddha, Bhagavān (recited three times).
