上來已受三歸依竟。而（某）但為傳戒之人，今當更為現前大眾，奉請釋迦世尊等五座聖師降臨道場。向諸佛菩薩之前，求哀懺悔，問於遮難，方堪秉法。然請師之法理合自陳。想汝未能，我今教汝。汝當虔心，切莫容易。

Above, you have already received the three refuges. I am merely the one transmitting the precepts; now, on behalf of the assembly present here, I shall respectfully invoke Śākyamuni the World-Honoured One and the other five sacred masters to descend to the bodhimaṇḍa. Before the buddhas and bodhisattvas, you must plead for mercy and repent, and be questioned concerning the hindrances, before you are fit to uphold the Dharma. Properly speaking, the ritual of requesting the masters should be declared by yourselves; but assuming you are not yet able, I shall now instruct you. You must be sincere of heart and by no means treat this lightly:
