喜汝諸人無上七種遮難，已是納戒之器，眾聖同慶凡俗俱忻，千生萬劫得幸遭逢。今則正當羯麼受戒，須知此戒乃是十方三世諸佛菩薩積劫熏修無量功德之所成就，汝等諸人當起深心生乎難遭之想，必使此法一念圓成。今正是時，切在翹勤傾仰，如器盛物不得差泄。以是因緣，諦聽諦聽。

Rejoice that none of you have the above seven hindrances; you are already vessels to receive the precepts. The holy ones together celebrate, and ordinary worldlings alike are joyful; this is a fortunate encounter obtained only once in thousands of births and tens of thousands of kalpas. Now is the precise moment to receive the precepts through karmavācanā. You must know that these precepts are accomplished through the accumulation of immeasurable merits cultivated across eons by all the buddhas and bodhisattvas of the ten directions and the three times. All of you must give rise to a deep mind, thinking of this as rarely encountered, ensuring that this Dharma is completely perfected in a single thought. Now is the very time; make every effort in earnest diligence and longing reverence, like a vessel holding its contents without any leak or failure. For this reason, listen attentively, listen attentively:
